Three techniques from southeastern Mexico in one sandal. Mook by Pawuamba brings together telar de cintura maya (Maya backstrap loom), jipijapa weaving and carved recovered bull horn, from the Colección Peninsular, a collaboration with artisan communities in Yaxunah (Yucatán), Los Laureles and Tankuché (Campeche). It is a flat nude sandal with natural Maya loom textile joined with cotton thread, horn links and jipijapa circles. Semi-square toe, padded insole and regenerated rubber sole. Each pair takes about 12 hours of work and varies in texture and tone, from black to amber.
